Cured in Place Liners
DrainTech Solutions specialises in the installation of Cured in Place (CIP) liners, an effective solution to open-cut excavations.
- No-dig technology reduces interference with existing infrastructure
- Permanent structural repair
- Complete renovation/Continuous Liner – Manhole to manhole or main
- Sectional Repair – Patching
- Lateral Connection Repair – Patching junctions
CIP structural liners restore the efficiency, reliability and integrity of ageing wastewater systems and pipelines. A no-dig Drain Relining Technology, CIP reduces interference with existing infrastructure, is structurally durable with complete product and installation warranties and a service life of over 50 years.
DrainTech Solutions offers CIP continuous liners (manhole to manhole, manhole to main) suited for all wastewater lines up to 600mm dia. and sectional repair liners (patches) in lines up to 1200mm dia.
CIP liners are suitable for a range of pipe materials including clay, cast iron, PVC, ABS and concrete. Flexible liners provide a close fit to the host pipe, conforming to both circular and non-circular cross-sections and changes in direction and diameter.
When cured, CIP provides a smooth, chemically resistant surface which restores the hydraulic capacity of the line.
COMPLETE RENOVATION
The drain liner process is a method for the complete renovation of entire pipe runs in sewer systems. It is a ‘no-dig’ application. A flexible tube of synthetic and/or glass fibre resin is introduced into the host pipe run through a manhole or access pit using an inversion unit. The liner is transported to the point of repair and is applied via. air pressure. Once the resin cures the liner forms a tight frictional fit with the host pipe wall. The ‘pipe-in-pipe’ system is integrated with the host pipe and fully meets hydraulic requirements.
